About the Northern Lake County Arts Board About Us


Our Purpose is to support and promote the value of art and artistic expression in the northern Lake County area of Minnesota, with an emphases on programs for young people and on community cultural events.

Our Focus is arts education for children and enriching the cultural enviroment of the community.

Our Board is made up of community volunteers, including William Kelley Students, grades 7-12. Board meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month, September-June, 3:45 p.m. in the ITV Room at William Kelley School and are open to all.

Our Partners ​include local and regional visual, practical and performing artists and arts organizations who serve as advisors, faculty and performers. We maintain a close working relationship with the teaching staff at William Kelley School.

Our Donors are made up of generous individuals and businesses that believe in our programming. 

Our Funders â€‹include  Cliffs Natural Resources, the Rosemary & David Good Family Foundation, Lloyd K. Johnson Foundation, Arrowhead Regional Arts Council, Cooperative Light & Power, Duluth-Superior Area Community Foundation (the Silver Bay Fund), Silver Bay Tourism Association.

How You Can Participate:
