A HARD DAY'S NIGHT BEATLES TRIBUTE CONCERT

Wm Kelley School Auditorium, Silver Bay, Mn
Saturday October 7, 2017 07:00pm-09:00pm
Beatles fans won’t want to miss the Hard Day's Night Beatles Tribute Concert Saturday, October 7, 7:00 pm, Wm. Kelley School Auditorium, Silver Bay.

The Hard Day’s Night band focuses on performing songs exactly as the Beatles themselves did; four musicians onstage in character as John, Paul, George, and Ringo; wearing perfect stitch-for-stitch replications of the suits made famous by the Beatles; with authentic Vox, Hofner, Gretsch, Rickenbacker, and Ludwig instruments; playing the world-famous songs note-for-note. Hard Day’s Night has performed at the world-famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, England during International Beatles Week, including a special appearance with Pete Best, the Beatles’ first drummer, at the Casbah Club. The concert features songs from the four Beatles eras such as...

BEATLEMANIA: Hard Day's Night recreates the excitement of a live Beatles concert wearing exact replicas of the Chesterfield Suits made famous in those early years playing hits from the Ed Sullivan show through the Hard Day's Night film. Songs include She Loves You, I Want To Hold Your Hand, I Saw Her Standing There, Can't Buy Me Love, A Hard Day's Night.

SHEA STADIUM: In 1965 the Beatles ushered in a new era in live music as they stormed Shea Stadium in New York City. Wearing exact replicas of what is now know as the "Shea Jacket", Hard Day's Night
takes the audience back to the sounds of that summer evening (minus the 55,000 screaming Beatles fans). Songs include; I Feel Fine, She's A Woman, Help!, Yesterday, Nowhere Man, Day Tripper, Tax Man and Paperback Writer.

PEPPER: Cellophane flowers of yellow and green....this era brings to mind the psychedelic 60's and the beginning of the Beatles artistic explosion. Songs include; Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, With A Little Help From My Friends, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds and Magical Mystery Tour.

STUDIO YEARS: You say you want a revolution? The final stanza in the Beatles story was indeed that! Wearing costumes borrowed from the Revolution video, Hard Day's Night pays tribute to this era by rocking out to what some would say are the greatest songs of the Beatles catalog. Songs include Blackbird, Come Together, Something, Revolution, Let It Be, Hey Jude and Get Back.

Tickets are $20 at the door, high school students and younger free. Sponsored by the Northern Lake County Arts Board.
